Race Weekend Details
SATURDAY, JUNE 21
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Packet pick-up at Yeatman’s Cove
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Bike Check-In: Encouraged but not Mandatory (There is overnight security)
1:30 pm – 2:00 pm: Athlete Briefing
2:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Athlete Panel (Q&A with athletes, medical, coaches, etc)
SUNDAY, JUNE 22
5:00 am – 6:30 am: Final Packet Pick Up at Yeatman’s Cove
5:30 am: Transition Opens
6:45 am: Transition Closes. Bikes must be in the transition area
7:00 am – 2:00 pm: Athlete Village
7:00 am: Olympic Swim Start
7:35 am: Sprint Swim Start
7:40 am: Duathlon Start
8:15 am: Mini Swim Start
9:45 am: Mini Distance Awards (estimated time)
10:30 am: Sprint Distance Awards (estimated time)
11:15 am: Olympic Distance Awards (estimated time)
11:00 am: All participants must be finished with Bike Course
12:00 pm: All participants must be finished with Run Course to guarantee police and volunteer support
Awards
All finishers will receive a handsome finisher amenity.
- Top 3 Male and Female OVERALL FINISHERS in the Mini, Sprint & Olympic triathlons and duathlons races will receive a commemorative award.
- Top 3 Male and Female OVERALL Finishers in the Collegiate (Mini, Sprint & Olympic) will receive a commemorative award (See Note 1).
- Top 3 Male and Female OVERALL Finishers in the High School Division – Triathlon & Duathlon (Mini & Sprint) will receive a commemorative award (See Note 1).
- TOP OVERALL Division FINISHER (Male & Female) (1st Place) in each AGE GROUP, 1st RESPONDER, CLYDESDALE, ATHENA, ADAPTIVE & PARATRIATHLON in the Mini, Sprint and Olympic triathlons will receive an award commemorating their finish.
- Top OVERALL Relay team in each distance will receive a commemorative award.
- Top OVERALL Male and Female Finisher in the Aquabike,
Note 1: Athletes must register and select to participate in special Collegiate, High School, and First Responders divisions and not in the “standard” age group categories for each distance. If register in the Mini, Sprint & Olympic standard age group categories you will not be scored in the Collegiate, High School and First Responders Divisions
Relays
For those who prefer to race one element of the triathlon or duathlon we offer a relay division for our sprint and Olympic distance triathlons and duathlons. Relay teams consist of three (3) members (1 swimmer, 1 biker, 1 runner), each member will complete one segment of the race (2 members for duathlon teams). Each team member will exchange their timing chip bracelet at their assigned bike rack. There are NO age groups in this division.
